Job Description

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Maintenance & Facilities Coordinator for a leading Global Manufacturing organisation.

Role Overview

Coordinate and support planned and reactive maintenance, along with wider Facilities services, using company management systems and professional expertise to ensure efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact for daily Facilities/Maintenance requests, managing work orders in the CMMS (E-Maint) from logging through to close-out.
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily technician scheduling, covering planned, reactive, and corrective works.
  • Drive process improvements, reducing cycle time from request initiation to completion.
  • Maintain and enhance CMMS effectiveness to support best practice and ensure legal, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Manage purchase requisitions, receipting, and spend tracking with the Facilities/Maintenance team.
  • Oversee quotation tracking and status reporting.
  • Coordinate contractor visits and administer the Permit-to-Work system.
  • Maintain service provider records (insurance, H&S documentation, T&Cs, key contacts).
  • Track maintenance performance metrics and provide timely reports to the Facilities Manager.
  • Maintain at least one week of planned and ready-to-execute backlog work.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Facilities services/administration in a similar environment.
  • Strong financial and process administration skills (technical/minor projects).
  • Experience with work order management and financial systems.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-focused.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • High integrity and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Results-driven with strong perseverance.
  • Asset lifecycle management experience advantageous.
