Job Description
Facade Manager Data Centre Dublin Permanent position Our client, a leader in the data centre sector, is currently seeking a Facade Manager to join their dynamic team in Dublin. This permanent role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in the delivery of a major data centre project by leading a team dedicated to maintaining high standards and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Develop and review facade and envelope designs using advanced CAD and BIM tools Perform structural analysis to ensure envelope stability under various load conditions Select appropriate envelope materials considering durability, fire safety, thermal performance, and sustainability Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, standards, and environmental guidelines Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to achieve integrated solutions Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics related to envelope systems Conduct site inspections to confirm design implementation and quality assurance Integrate energy-efficient and environmentally responsible solutions into building envelope projects Evaluate and propose new materials, technologies, and construction methods to improve performance Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation for client approvals and regulatory permits Provide guidance to the construction team on envelope-related engineering issues Participate in design reviews and project coordination meetings Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field Professional engineering licence (Chartered Engineer or equivalent) preferred Experience in building envelope or facade engineering within commercial or institutional construction projects Proven experience with structural calculations, finite element analysis, and material selection for envelopes Strong knowledge of local building codes, standards, and environmental guidelines Proficiency in using advanced CAD and BIM tools Excellent communication and collaboration skills Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Benefits: Work with a market leader delivering turnkey data centre projects across Europe Competitive salary package Working within a collaborative team environment Supportive career development If you are a dynamic engineer with a proven track record in large-scale projects, we invite you to apply now to join our client's talented team in Dublin
