About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our team at Atlas Workplace Services , working on-site at a world-renowned university in London . This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a prestigious environment, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the fabric of historic and modern buildings alike.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance , ensuring the university's facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general fabric maintenance including:
- Carpentry
- Electrical maintenance
- Painting & decorating
- Plumbing maintenance
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies
- Deliver excellent service in a customer-facing environment
About You
Minimum Qualifications & Training
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade
- Recognised qualification in fabric engineering
- Fully time-served apprenticeship (desirable)
Essential Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a large or complex site
- 1 year in a customer-facing outsourcing environment
- Background in property maintenance or facilities management
- Familiarity with CAFM systems (e.g., MAXIMO) and Android tablets
- Strong, demonstrable skills across building services trades
- Good understanding of modern office software
