Job Description

Mount Royal Hotel is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager who is ready for a new challenge. The successful candidate will lead the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences and manage our newly refurbished restaurant, which has received £10m investment as part of our hotel refurbishment project. This is a fantastic opportunity to join The Unlimited Collection as it debuts in the UK and be part of our journey as we expand our portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Daily Operations: Manage the daily operations of Front of House and Kitchen teams, oversee restaurant service, and provide catering updates in hotel operations meetings.
  • Business Development: Assist in developing business plans, identify commercial opportunities, and seek innovative ways to enhance guest experience and maximise income.
  • Event Support: Offer operational support to the Events Team, manage event bookings and resource allocation through planning and rotas.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead Front of House and Back of House staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and motivating customer focused service.
  • Service Standards: Develop and maintain guest service standards, train the team in service delivery, and address non compliance issues.
  • Financial Management: Manage supplier relationships, oversee stock control and pricing, support financial performance, and maintain financial and administrative records.
Requirements
  • Change Management: Experience of rebrand or new openings is highly desirable for this high visibility project.
  • Leadership: Managerial experience in hospitality and 4 star hotel restaurants, with preferred experience in a Rosette environment.
  • Customer Centric: Strong customer service skills, confident and courteous manner, with experience handling complaints and requests.
  • Excellent Communicator and Organizer: Clear and concise communication, outstanding organisational skills, and ability to multitask and troubleshoot.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrable achievements in budget delivery and KPI achievement.
