Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust - EYSE Senior Administrator (Part Time, 30 hrs, fixed term/secondment)

This advertised vacancy is within the Digestive Disease Care Group for the East Yorkshire School of Endoscopy. The East Yorkshire School of Endoscopy delivers education and training for Doctors, Consultants and Nurses working in endoscopy. The role is to support the Education Assistant to run the core activities of the school. The role is varied, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and can adapt to change to meet the needs of the service.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

Main duties of the job

The main duty of this role is to work with the Education Assistant booking patients and processing applications for the training centre. The role will require working as part of a team. You will be responsible for the booking of patients to meet National diagnostic and 18 week Referral To Treatment targets. You will be required to provide efficient and effective administration support within the department and this role requires attention to detail, data quality and accuracy. You will be required to work evenings and weekends flexibly to fit the needs of the service. This is a demanding role working to tight deadlines. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential together with the ability to work well under pressure.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Math's and English Language
  • NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines
