Job Description
We are delighted to invite applications for an Extended Provision Teacher to join our academy as we launch a brand new Extended Provision on site.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning - shaping a provision designed to meet the needs of students who benefit from a highly supportive, nurturing, and structured learning environment, while remaining closely connected to the life of the wider academy.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver high quality, inclusive teaching within a small group setting
  • Support students with additional needs, including social, emotional, and behavioural needs
  • Develop tailored learning approaches that enable students to re engage and succeed
  • Work closely with pastoral staff, SEND teams, and external agencies

The Extended Provision is:
  • Purpose built and within the Academy grounds
  • Designed to provide targeted support while maintaining links to mainstream learning
  • Focused on inclusion, aspiration, and positive outcomes for all students
  • You will have the opportunity to help establish systems, routines, and culture as the provision grows.

What we're looking for:
  • A qualified teacher (secondary experience)
  • A strong commitment to inclusive education and pastoral care
  • A calm, flexible, and reflective teacher in their practice
  • Someone who builds positive, trusting relationships with young people
  • Someone who is excited by the opportunity to help shape a new provision
  • Someone who works well as part of a collaborative team

Experience of working with students with SEND, SEMH, or alternative provision is desirable, but not essential - the right mindset and commitment are key.
