Within this function, our Distribution Centre plays a critical role in ensuring orders across EMEA are handled efficiently and delivered to approved global destinations with accuracy and care.

We're looking for an Export / Logistics Coordinator to join the team and support the smooth and compliant movement of goods across our network.

The role

As an Export / Logistics Coordinator, you will support the CFC Manager in ensuring all export documentation, policies, procedures and shipping controls are managed in line with current legislative and compliance requirements.

This is a varied role that combines export administration, logistics coordination and operational support. You'll be responsible for arranging same day, international and special deliveries, maintaining accurate export records, supporting compliance activity, and providing administrative support to the Distribution Centre and Integration Management teams.

You'll also help ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, work closely with shipping vendors, and play an important part in maintaining high service standards for internal and external clients.

  • Support internal and external clients in a professional and efficient manner
  • Coordinate and book same day, international and special deliveries
  • Complete commercial invoices for shipments to non-EU countries
  • Maintain accurate records of Standard Individual Export Licence (SIEL) and Open General Export Licence (OGEL) documentation
  • Support the CFC Manager with maintaining accurate licence applications in a central system
  • Confirm end of month and end of quarter same day deliveries and provide proof of delivery where required
  • Obtain and retain POD evidence as needed
  • Maintain daily shipping and collection manifest documentation
  • Support the maintenance and management of export compliance documentation
  • Assist with the management of Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) for Insight products across EMEA countries when required
  • Update export-related product information weekly through Product Management
  • Provide broader administrative and operational support across the Distribution Centre as required

This role may also include additional responsibilities in line with business needs and as reasonably requested by your manager.

What success looks like

Success in this role will include:

  • Export documentation completed accurately and filed correctly
  • Same day orders booked efficiently using the most appropriate, cost-effective and timely courier options
  • Commercial invoices prepared correctly and maintained appropriately
  • Full compliance with internal and external audit procedures, including SOX, with no significant issues raised
  • High levels of client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Positive vendor relationships, with accounts remaining active and well managed
What we're looking for Essential
  • Working towards a recognised qualification
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A professional and proactive approach to supporting both internal and external stakeholders
Desirable
  • Degree educated, or able to demonstrate equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics, including import/export and customs requirements
  • Strong IT skills, including cloud-based systems, Excel and freight systems
