Experienced Vehicle Technician

Okee is a well-established automotive garage in Wellington, Somerset, providing a wide range of services including MOTs, servicing, and repairs. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service to our customers and maintaining a friendly and professional working environment. _ We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician, passionate about cars, to join our team. _

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
Conduct vehicle diagnostics using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
Carry out MOT tests and ensure vehicles meet legal standards.
Provide accurate and detailed reports on work carried out and any additional work required.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Mentor and assist less experienced technicians and apprentices.

Essential Requirements:

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience as a vehicle technician in a professional garage setting.
Qualifications : NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
Skills : Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, proficiency with a wide range of tools and diagnostic equipment.
Communication : Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Licence : Full UK driving licence.
