Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various structures, ensuring they are watertight and durable. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work at heights, as well as proficiency with various tools and materials.

Responsibilities
Install roofing systems including shingles, tiles, and flat roofing materials.
Repair and replace damaged roofing materials to ensure structural integrity.
Fabricate roofing components as needed using power tools and hand tools.
Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
Perform heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues before they become serious problems.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment on-site.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to roofing tasks.
Experience in masonry work is advantageous for certain roofing applications.
Ability to plumb structures accurately for proper drainage and alignment.
Previous experience in building or construction roles is preferred but not essential.
A background in welding or fabrication can be beneficial for specific projects.
