We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our Basildon office and take on an exciting new challenge within a supportive and well-established firm.

In this key role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a dedicated Residential Property team, providing guidance, supervision, and support while managing your own busy and varied caseload. You'll play a vital part in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients across all aspects of the conveyancing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of conveyancing professionals, ensuring smooth daily operations and high performance.
• Handle a diverse caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Ensure compliance with CQS protocols, regulatory standards, and firm policies.
• Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, referrers, and colleagues across the firm.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with extensive residential property experience.
• Strong understanding of CQS compliance and conveyancing best practices.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a small team.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proactive, commercially aware, and committed to providing exceptional client service.
