Experienced Legal Assistant - Commercial Property Northampton

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time experienced Legal Assistant to join an ambitious, energetic and expanding Commercial Property Business Unit based in our Northampton office. The position is integral to the smooth running of the Commercial Property Unit. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks for and manage expectations with the fee earners in the team. You will be working primarily with the Commercial Property Team and will need to assist other units when necessary.

• Team player;
• Meticulous administrative skills to include photocopying, filing & scanning;
• Accurate presentation of work;

Audio typing skills (via digital audio - Diktamen) and other secretarial skills are desirable but not essential.

Duties to include (but not limited to):

• Submission of online property searches;
• Land Registry applications;
• Completion of stamp duty land transaction returns;
• Assistance with quality and compliance matters.

It is essential that the successful candidate be able todemonstrate previous experience & knowledge of working as a Legal Assistant in a legal property environment andthat they have the skills required to undertake this role.

Attention to detail, a professional, polite and attentive telephone manner along with a methodical approach to work, which needs to be completed under strict deadlines, are important for this role.
