Job Description

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Area Presidency of the Europe North Area in their vision of " inviting all to place the Saviour and sacred ordinances at the centre of their lives and joyfully live the gospel of Jesus Christ". This role serves as a trusted partner in enabling the Presidency to focus on strategic priorities by managing complex administrative functions, coordinating projects and communications, and ensuring the efficient flow of information, schedules, and key initiatives.

We seek highly motivated professionals who desire to contribute their skills and dedication to the building of the Lord's Kingdom through excellent administrative service and support. Offices are located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Responsibilities

Working with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment, the Executive Assistant operates with appropriate autonomy under general supervision, showing initiative, proactively anticipating needs, resolving diverse requests, and supporting the preparation of high-quality correspondence, reports, presentations, and meetings. The role requires strong organizational awareness, the ability to liaise effectively with senior leaders, ecclesiastical authorities, employees, and external partners, and a commitment to handling sensitive and confidential information with the highest integrity.

Responsibilities include:

  • At the highest administrative level, may act as coordinator ofdepartmental projects, following up on action items, and supporting timely completion of deliverables
  • Collects, evaluates, maintains and disseminates complexinformation and data from multiplesources
  • Compiles and analyses information to prepare reports, documents, and visual materials such as charts and presentations
  • Serves as a liaison between the Area Presidency and other keymembers of management, employees, ecclesiastical leaders and outside contacts
  • Composes professional and high-quality correspondence, presentations, memoranda, reports, agendas, etc.
  • Screens telephone calls and visitors and resolves issues andinquiries
  • Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings andtravel itineraries, and coordinates relatedarrangements
  • Assists in the organization of large group events
  • Prepares and distributes minutes ofmeetings
  • Handles highly sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Accomplishes other administrative tasks as required by the Area Presidency
Qualifications
  • A strong personal commitment to the mission and values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
  • Candidate must have legal right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of proven experience in a administrative or executive assistant role
  • High proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Portuguese, with the ability to produce clear and professional correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparing professional high-quality presentations
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and Zoom, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and digital tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel locally as required
  • Reside in or willingness to relocate to within an hour's commute from the Area Office in High Wycombe
  • Flexibility to respond to requests or meetings outside standard business hours
