Executive Chef

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven Executive Chef to join our team at 100 Queen's Gate, Curio Collection by Hilton

With full accountability for ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the Kitchen, the successful candidate willensure the department delivers guest satisfaction through exceptional food quality whilst meeting the hotel's profitability margins.

The Role

• Overseeing preparation and timely delivery of food for all outlets and services including breakfast, afternoon tea, bars, meetings & events, room service
• Leadership of the Kitchen team, including coaching and training colleagues in food production
• Creating and updating departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
• Management, development and costing of menus
• Manage the review, selection, determination of specifications and pricing of proposed menus
• New recipe development and product testing
• Deliver consistent food standards and quality across all areas
• Monitor guest satisfaction and develop strategies to improve food quality
• Achieve food budget cost of sales, ensuring minimum wastage
• Ensure Kitchen complies with all current Health and Safety legislation and Food Hygiene legislation

The Person

The ideal candidate will have an extensive food knowledge, and have a flair for culinary technique and creative menu development. In addition to a minimum of 2 years' in a similar role, the successful candidate will have experience in a busy hotel kitchen environment.
