Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking for an opportunity to lead and manage the examinations process in a dynamic school environment? Tile Cross Academy is seeking an Exams Manager to join our dedicated team and ensure the smooth administration of all internal and external examinations.
As the Exams Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of examinations, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations, and providing essential support to students, staff, and external examiners. You will manage the administration, security, and operation of exams, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of the school's examinations, including GCSEs, A-Levels, and vocational qualifications.
- Ensure compliance with JCQ and other examination board regulations.
- Manage exam entries, amendments, and withdrawals.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of invigilators.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the secure storage of examination papers.
- Process and distribute exam results and assist in data analysis.
- Support students with access arrangements in collaboration with the SENCO.
- A collaborative and inclusive culture, with opportunities for upskilling and learning in a safe, collaborative environment.
- Structured CPD opportunities via access to the National College online CPD platform and/or apprenticeships such as CIPD or coaching (as applicable).
