Exam Invigilators / St James Academy

St James Academy is seeking to appoint casual exam invigilators to support our student examinations. The purpose of this role is to ensure that candidates have an equal, safe and secure environment in which to sit their examinations in accordance with guidelines for conducting examinations.

Responsibilities

• Support student examinations during all exam periods including reading/scribing for candidates.
• Ensure that examination rooms are secure, orderly and comply with safeguarding and accessibility guidelines.
• Be available for all exam periods each year: the first two weeks of November, the last week of February and the first week of March, and throughout May and June.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Willingness to read/scribe for candidates.
• Availability for the specified exam periods each year.
• All successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and children and adults barred list checks, as the role is a regulated activity.
