Our Adult Education centres around the county, host students taking part in Kent Adult Education and Kent Training and Apprenticeships courses. We offer essential skills like English, ESOL, maths and digital skills. We help people take the first steps in getting back into learning and work. We work with multiple awarding bodies and deliver a range of qualification opportunities for our learners.
Our Invigilation Officers, who form part of our Exam and Learner Services team, play a crucial role in the success of our learners' progress by ensuring that the integrity of the exam process is upheld.
Responsibilities- Join our exams team to deliver the successful provision of exams across Kent. This is an ad hoc/zero hours position with an hourly pay rate of £12.74.
- Support peak exam activity May-July; exams run every month, so invigilation support is often needed.
- Ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with regulations to provide all candidates with an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
- Secure examination materials before, during and after the examination and prevent candidate malpractice and administrative failures.
- No invigilation experience required; training will be provided.
- If you have previous invigilation experience, you will be required to declare any current maladministration/malpractice sanctions.
- Part-time availability with flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a confident, reassuring presence with candidates.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain exam security and integrity.
