EVENTS OPERATIONS MANAGER

Join our dynamic Central Hall Westminster Events team as an Events Operations Manager! We're seeking a passionate and experienced professional to oversee and elevate our event experiences. If you have a seamless event planning and operational delivery, exceptional customer service, and a flair for hospitality, we want to hear from you!

This position reports into the Senior Events Operation Manger. As an Events Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing event execution while working closely with the senior management team to ensure smooth operational delivery and exceptional client experiences.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the floor operation in delivering the catering for an amazing range of events of up to 2000 guests: Conferences, graduations, drink receptions, corporate and social events.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Lead, train and motivate event staff, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to our events.
  • Handle event budgets, tracking expenses, and maximizing cost efficiencies.
  • Implement and enforce safety and quality standards to uphold our brand reputation.
  • Supporting the HOD with Rota management and labour costings for the department in accordance with budgets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as an Events/Hospitality Operation Managers within catering industry or 5 Luxury environment
  • Flexible schedule, as we occasionally hold events on the weekend.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new tasks.
