Events Coordinator - Equity Research - Fixed Term Contract

As a Marketing Co-Ordinator at Barclays, you will coordinate marketing activities for Research Analysts and teams in EMEA Equity Research. This team offers actionable insights and innovative products to clients, partnering to leverage resources for informed investment decisions. You will assist in achieving marketing goals and become the go-to person for your sectors regarding marketing data, tools, and processes. Responsibilities include managing client-facing strategies, facilitating meetings between Analysts and institutional investors, and overseeing relevant events or Roadshows. Additionally, you will utilize centralized target client lists to deliver high-quality marketing services.
To be successful as a Marketing Co-Ordinator, you should have:
- Experience in a Financial Services environment
- Background in events and event management
- Confidence working with large data sets and engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills
Additional valued skills include:
- Experience with Corporate Access or Roadshows
- Equity Research Assistant experience (other backgrounds considered)
- Proficiency in Excel formulas, including PivotTables
- Proactive, solution-oriented, with ownership of tasks and processes
You may be assessed on key skills such as risk and controls, change management, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital skills, and technical expertise.
The role is based in our London office.
Purpose of the role
To support Research Analysts in producing and delivering research with market insights and actionable ideas to Barclays clients.
Accountabilities
- Data compilation and analysis to aid Analysts in developing investment theses
- Presenting Research views to clients and preparing materials or responses to questions
- Collaborating with Analysts, Supervisory Analysts, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant research delivery
