The Position The Events & Partnerships Manager will lead the design and delivery of high-impact events, conferences, and partnership activity across NorthMark Strategies and its portfolio of companies.Embedded within the Transformation Office, this role is responsible for using events and partnerships as strategic tools - strengthening culture and reputation, supporting growth objectives, deepening stakeholder relationships, and positioning NorthMark and its portfolio at the center of relevant industry conversations.The role will also act as a central coordination point for internal and external event-related requests, ensuring quality, consistency, and strategic value across all engagements. Responsibilities: Events & Conference Strategy Create and manage an internal events program for NorthMark and its portfolio as required. Develop and execute a portfolio-wide external events and conferences strategy aligned to NorthMark's commercial, reputational, and growth priorities. Lead planning and delivery of owned, partnered, and third-party events, including executive forums, industry conferences, and portfolio showcases. Ensure events are designed with clear objectives, audiences, and measurable outcomes.Partnerships & External Engagement Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that enhance NorthMark's visibility, credibility, and access to key ecosystems. Work closely with internal stakeholders to activate partnerships through events, content, and thought leadership opportunities. Act as a primary interface with external partners, conference organizers, and industry bodies.Portfolio & Stakeholder Support Support portfolio companies with event strategy, execution, and prioritization - ensuring alignment with broader transformation and growth objectives. Provide guidance to leadership teams on speaker opportunities, panel participation, and external representation. Manage inbound event requests and sponsorship opportunities, assessing strategic value and return.Delivery, Operations & Experience Oversee end-to-end event delivery, including logistics, agencies, budgets, timelines, and risk management. Ensure a high standard of experience, professionalism, and brand alignment across all touchpoints. Collaborate closely with Communications, Marketing and Digital teams to ensure events are integrated into broader narrative and marketing strategies.Governance, Measurement & Continuous Improvement Establish frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for events and partnerships across the portfolio. Track performance and impact, including audience engagement, brand outcomes, and commercial value where relevant. Continuously refine approach based on insight, feedback, and evolving business priorities.Role Focus Externally Facing Impact: Positioning NorthMark and its portfolio through visible, high-quality engagement. Driving Internal Culture & Engagement: Bringing together colleagues to share information and drive culture. Strategic, Not Tactical: Events as a lever for reputation, growth, and relationships - not just logistics. Portfolio-Wide Coordination: Bringing clarity and coherence across multiple companies and priorities. Trusted Partner: Calm, credible support to senior leaders and portfolio teams. Requirements: Experience: 6-10+ years in strategic events, partnerships, or external engagement roles, ideally in complex or fast-moving environments. Events Expertise: Proven track record delivering high-profile conferences, executive events, and partnership programs. Stakeholder Confidence: Comfortable working with senior leaders, partners, and external organizations. Commercial & Strategic Mindset: Able to assess value, prioritize effectively, and align activity to business goals. Highly Organized: Exceptional attention to detail with strong project and budget management skills. Collaborative: Works seamlessly with communications, marketing, digital, and leadership teams.
