Part-Time Event Manager (Tech Meetups & Conferences)
Location: Remote (UK-based preferred, ideally London)
Engagement: Part-time, project-based
We're looking for a freelance or part-time Event Manager (or Marketing Manager with relevant experience) to support our team in organizing high-quality, small-to-mid scale tech events, meetups, and boutique conferences.
This is a project-based, part-time opportunity ideal for someone who's already working in a similar role (e.g., at a tech company like N-iX, SoftServe, or similar) and is open to consulting or side projects.
What You'll DoAdvise on event formats, concepts, and audience engagement for tech-focused communities
Recommend and coordinate venues, catering, AV, and vendors for London-based events
Help identify and liaise with potential speakers, partners, and sponsors
Support the execution of in-person events (primarily in London), and possibly online
Share best practices around community building, attendee acquisition, and post-event engagement
Ideal BackgroundExperience organizing or supporting tech meetups/conferences (bonus if in B2B SaaS/ data / AI space)
Currently working as an Event Manager or Marketing Manager at a tech company
Based in the UK (preferably London) and well-connected in the local tech community
Familiar with tools like Eventbrite, Hopin, Meetup, Slack/Discord, LinkedIn Events
Available 10-20 hrs/month depending on project scope
