Job Vacancy: Domestic Assistant / Cleaner

Location: St Winifreds Care Home in Deal, Kent

Contracted hours: 9 Hours per week, over 3 evenings to include some weekends

Hourly rate of pay: £13.00

As the Domestic Assistant / Cleaner, you will enjoy being part of an exceptionally supportive team, welcoming you into providing outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to the people living at St Winifreds Care Home. You will play a key role in ensuring our residents, families and visitors receive a positive impression of our Home by keeping it spotless and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Following cleaning schedules and suggesting improvements when they would improve practice.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all housekeeping tasks completed.
• Being responsible for understanding and applying the health and safety requirements of the role.
• Being responsible for understanding and applying the infection prevention and control requirements of the role.
• Experience of working with cleaning equipment and appliances and understanding the risks involved.
