Evening Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a childrens nursery environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming for clients and visitors. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 18:30 - 19:30 & Friday 18:30 - 20:30 6 hours a week

A valid DBS will be required

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
Remove waste and recycling from designated areas.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning schedules and special requests.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
Proficiency in English to understand instructions and communicate clearly.
A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that may require travel between locations.
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

Pay: £12.50 per hour
