Job Description
EUROSPAR Brand Manager

Reporting to the Marketing Manager at BWG Foods, the Brand Manager will have responsibility for implementing specific areas as outlined in the annual EUROSPAR marketing plan in a manner that contributes to the growth and development of the brand.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Develop and implement local marketing activity programmes as required, to help the development and growth of individual EUROSPAR stores, existing and new

  • Build on success of the Local Marketing Toolkit and maintain the EUROSPAR website

  • Co-ordination of product, consumer and cyclical promotions

  • Drive the continued success of EUROSPAR's Supereasy Rewards programme and App by maximizing shopper insights data and delivering a programme of innovative marketing activity

  • Develop, implement and manage all EUROSPAR's Social Media activity, including working closely with 3rd party agencies and managing an annual budget

  • Manage partnership with SocioLocal for EUROSPAR stores including store recruitment, training, uploading content and local support to maximise Retailer Success

  • Drive growth and development of the Own Brand Range including new packaging, promotional and marketing campaigns

  • Support the Marketing Manager in development and implementation of a strong programme of community activity including CSR and Sponsorship campaigns

  • Responsible for the management and implementation of the EUROSPAR Responsible Retailing programme working closely with the BWG Foods ESG Manager

  • Work with internal functions where appropriate, such as Trading, Retail Development, Retail Advisory Services, Operations, Finance and IT to ensure that marketing goals are being achieved

The ideal candidate will possess the following key attributes:
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferably within a retail environment

  • A 3rd level marketing qualification, or equivalent

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders

  • Excellent IT Skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with good presentation skills

  • Budget management experience

  • A highly organised and proactive in approach for the brand

  • Full clean drivers licence
