We are partnering with a leading Charge Point Operator (CPO) in search of a European Sales Director to lead and scale their commercial strategy across Europe.


As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive new business growth, build high-impact partnerships, and help shape the company's position as a market leader in EV charging infrastructure.


About the Company:

Our client is an innovative and fast-growing Charge Point Operator with a strong presence across Europe. Focused on delivering reliable, accessible, and sustainable charging solutions, they are expanding rapidly to meet the growing demand for electric mobility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute the European sales strategy, focusing on large-scale infrastructure projects, fleet solutions, public sector tenders, and B2B partnerships.
  • Team Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing international sales team.
  • Key Account Management: Identify, secure, and grow strategic partnerships with major clients, including fleet operators, real estate groups, retailers, and municipalities.
  • Market Expansion: Drive growth into new European markets, tailoring the go-to-market approach to regional differences.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee forecasting, reporting, and CRM processes to maintain a healthy and actionable sales pipeline.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and delivery.
  • Representation: Act as a key ambassador at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.


Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Senior sales leadership experience, ideally within EV charging, energy, mobility, infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • Pan-European Exposure: Strong understanding of the European energy and e-mobility landscape, with experience working across multiple European markets.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing multi-million-euro sales pipelines and closing complex deals.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to build, inspire, and lead diverse sales teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, business development, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English required; other European languages (Dutch, German, French, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel regularly across Europe ( 30-40%).
