Role Summary If you are a dedicated, results driven manufacturing engineer with a strong background in driving improvements in manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste and ensure cost effectiveness without compromising safety and quality, then this is the role for you.

You will work closely with the European sites to support the implementation of operational excellence. You will support the evaluation and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing principles. You will provide technical expertise on equipment and processes and have significant experience in problem solving and improvement implementation.

You will be a strong communicator who thrives on collaboration across all functions and with stakeholders at all levels. You will be innovative and focused on performance improvements to ensure that our future capacity is aligned to meet the future demands of our customers. You will take pride in working together across all areas of the business, including Quality and Health & Safety, to implement and leverage best practice, raising the bar to deliver Excellence in Manufacturing. What you'll be doing
  • Prioritising adherence to health and safety protocols, guidelines, and best practices to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Sharing best practice between sites
  • Co-ordinating the implementation of site ownership of compliance with ATEX directives
  • Identifying opportunities for performance improvement by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and evaluating equipment performance, utilisation and capacity.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of improvements to manufacturing processes, methods, and equipment to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall product quality
  • Collaborating closely with production teams to ensure seamless ramp up of new production lines.
  • Leading and mentoring the supply site manufacturing engineers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to help them reach their full potential.
  • Supporting the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing processes
  • Supporting the development of capex requests to support manufacturing engineering projects and initiatives.
This is what you'll need to be successful in this role:
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, best practices, and risk management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Significant experience in operational excellence, together with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and increasing efficiency in manufacturing operations
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and delivering results
  • Ability to undertake international travel
  • Desirable language : French
