We are currently partnered with a £350m turnover, Private Equity backed SaaS business who are on an exciting high-growth buy-and-build strategy. The business is looking for a European Financial Controller to join their business. The successful candidate will be fluent in German and have previous SaaS experience in a PE backed company.

Reporting directly to a dynamic, high-energy Group FC, this role is a unique chance for a strong number two to step into a fast-paced environment, shaping and professionalising the finance function as the business transitions from start-up to scale-up.

The Role:

The Financial Controller will take ownership of reporting, controls, and accounting processes:

• Overseeing financial reporting, accounting policies, and controls, ensuring compliance with Private Equity standards.
• Managing an outsourced finance function, with plans to bring it in-house and build a best-in-class finance team.
• Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business, providing commercial insights.
• Leading systems improvements and driving process automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.

The Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• PE experience in a SaaS business.
• German speaking.
• Strong technical finance expertise, coupled with a commercial mindset and ability to partner with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with finance systems and automation is an advantage.
