EU Supply Chain Capacity Planning Program Mgr

Amazon's EU Capacity Planning team focuses on managing storage capacity and optimizing inventory storage across our EU Customer Fulfillment network, including Amazon Robotics FCs, Traditional S & NS FCs, Specialty sites, and External Fulfillment solutions.
We are seeking a results-driven Capacity Planner with analytical and innovative thinking to manage our complex networks. This role combines data analytics, program management, and operations, offering high ownership and impact.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain capacity planning models and forecasts to manage fullness and optimize storage utilization across different network types.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as network fullness, bin utilization, and forecast accuracy.
- Partner with S&OP teams to align capacity planning with demand forecasts and inventory strategies at various levels.
- Define capacity solutions for mid-term planning, anticipating constraints, and steering solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects to improve bin utilization and reduce operational costs.
- Support special network planning, including Hazmat and Beverage/Wine/Spirits operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations planning.
- Strong analytical skills with proven data analysis experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of simplifying complex topics.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proven ownership and results-driven approach.
- Advanced BI skills including SQL, Python, VBA.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the EU.
