Estimator - Ireland

A well-established and rapidly growing contractor specialising in mission-critical environments, is seeking an experienced an Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in high-profile data centre and fit-out projects across Ireland and internationally. The role can be based around Kilkenny, Cork, or Dublin and offers strong long-term career prospects within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Reporting into the pre-construction team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and ensuring a smooth transition from pre-construction through to project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Tender & pre-construction Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission Attend and contribute to pre- and post-tender meetings Support project handover to delivery teams upon award Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output Collaborate with internal teams to meet client requirements Estimating & Costing Prepare detailed CSA / MEP cost estimates for data centre and fit-out projects Complete accurate take-offs from drawings and specifications Review project documentation to ensure full scope coverage Supply Chain Engagement Source and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers Ensure all tenders remain competitive and commercially viable Requirements: Minimum 5+ years experience in a construction estimating role Strong background in data centre fit-out projects Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial awareness What s on Offer: Opportunity to join a leading contractor delivering complex, mission-critical projects Exposure to both Irish and international work Supportive team environment with clear progression opportunities If you would like to apply for this role, please forward a copy of your CV using the email link provided
