Mobile Caretaker - LewishamSalary - £27, hours per weekPermanent Full TimeService Care Solutions are working with a large housing organisation to recruit a Mobile Caretaker to support multiple residential estates across South East London. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you will help keep communal areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents.A company van is provided, and the role involves travelling between sites daily, so flexibility and confidence working independently are essential.Key responsibilities

• Provide cover for caretaking and gardening teams across multiple estates
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, including litter picking and graffiti removal
• Manage refuse and recycling areas
• Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks
• Report repairs, vandalism, hazards, and health & safety issues
• Complete basic safety checks (e.g. emergency lighting and fire alarm testing)
• Attend estate walkabouts and support actions around anti-social behaviour
• Work closely with the local Estate Services management team

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving license (essential)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Basic literacy and numeracy
• Understanding of health & safety practices
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties
• Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check

Additional information

• Mobile role covering multiple sites
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
