Equity Analyst, Global Industrials

Our client, a leading global Asset Manager, is seeking an Equity Analyst to cover the Global Industrials sector. The main purpose of the role is to generate and present investment ideas to Portfolio Managers and maintain coverage of Global Industrials companies.

Responsibilities:

1. Present investment ideas and recommendations to Portfolio Managers
2. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the sector and the companies within it on an operational and financial level
3. Lead meetings with management, including site visits and ESG engagements
4. Build financial models, analyze financial performance, returns on capital, and valuation
5. Build screening tools that identify companies that might deserve further analysis
6. Contribute to wider investment debate, updating the investment team on recent events or results in the sector
7. Assist in marketing-related activities to external clients

Candidate Profile:

1. Relevant experience as an Equity Analyst on the buy-side or sell-side
2. Direct knowledge of the Industrials sector and companies within the sector
3. Excellent academic background
4. Likely studying towards or have completed the CFA program
5. Self-motivated, competitive and/or entrepreneurial with a genuine interest in investing
6. Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
