Equipment Engineer

Do you like to troubleshoot, solve complex electro-mechanical problems and enjoy hands on tasks and projects?Our client are the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world.
If you're successful, you will work as a Field Service Engineer and provide service and maintenance support to customers of clients key equipment, this is an onsite based role.Once you a fully trained - you will be working a 4 cycle shift.
There will be a travel requirement for this position. You will spend several weeks initially at one of the global training sites, before returning back to Ireland
Shift role: Who we are looking for:- A Technical qualification (ideally Level 6) or equivalent industry experience is desirable.
- Someone who has practical hands-on work exposure (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) through previous experience or project work;
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges
- Basic mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics
- Familiarity with hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Full Driving License
- Ability to work 24/7 shift rota
- You will be involved in the on-site installation, qualification,preventative and correctivemaintenance and repair ofelectrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems
- You will gain valuable experience working in a dynamic and diverse environment;

- You will take responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment.
