Equipment Engineer

We're looking for an Equipment Engineer to join our Equipment/Maintenance team at Specs Inc.
Responsibilities- Maintain and service semiconductor manufacturing and process equipment and infrastructure.
- Perform cleanroom equipment daily checks, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Manage restocking and supply logistics.
- Document equipment processes and calibration.
- Maintain facility and infrastructure upkeep.
- Monitor user activities in the cleanroom to ensure safe operation.
- Coordinate with external services for major equipment repairs and upgrades.
- Experience with semiconductor processing equipment and facilities, including installation, preventative maintenance planning, and troubleshooting.
- Deep-level technical expertise in semiconductor process areas such as thin-film deposition, lithography, or etch.
- Experience implementing and maintaining Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems for monitoring equipment performance and yield.
- Proficiency with equipment control software and data logging systems for fault isolation and performance tracking.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Asset and inventory management experience.
- Systematic problem solving.
- Collaboration with cross functional teams, suppliers, and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic product development environment.
- Honors or Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics, or Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in a clean room or chemical laboratory within semiconductor manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience with vacuum technology, high purity gas, and chemical delivery systems.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, preventative maintenance, and asset history.
- Master's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with startup and commissioning of facilities systems.
