Role - Environmental Health, Safety & Facilities Engineer

Location - Leeds

Salary £43-48k

Hours - Monday to Friday regular day plus 12pm finish every Friday

+ Christmas shutdown

The Company

Our client is giving you the chance, as the Environmental Health, Safety & Facilities Engineer to work for a global manufacturing giant who supply into some of the biggest names in their sector! As the Environmental Health, Safety & Facilities Engineer your key duties will be to create, implement and maintain safe, compliant and efficient working environment.

This role will be a key partner across different functions including maintenance, production, manufacturing where you will present and implement new ideas and culture and optimise site wide performance

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report EHS performance metrics, compliance status and audits
• Support internal/external EHS/6s audits, inspections and reporting activities
• Conduct risk assessments including incident reporting, implement corrective and preventative actions

Requirements

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualified
• Previous experience working with and managing contractors
• Knowledge and experience of UK/EU EHS legislation and building requirements
• Knowledge of LOTO, PUWER highly desirable
