Enterprise Solution Architect (Retail) - Stock Optimisation, Inventory, PoS, Oracle Retail - Global

A major global consultancy is expanding its retail Enterprise & Solution Architecture practice and is seeking a contract Domain Architect with experience across range of retail applications. You'll work with Tier-1 retailers on large-scale transformation programmes covering merchandising, planning, stock operations and supply chain. For this specific assignment, you'll lead architecture across:

- Oracle Retail (on-prem Legacy)

- Assortment Planning (Board)

- Space Band Option Planning (Board)

- Stock Optimisation

- RFID

- Sales transaction matching

- Windward

What You'll Do:

• Own Enterprise Architecture for stock operations systems
• Define integration patterns, data flows and functional architecture
• Work closely with client stakeholders to shape roadmap and design decisions
• Provide architectural governance across delivery teams
• Work on a hybrid basis: 1-2 days per week in Reading, the rest remote

What You'll Bring:

• Strong architecture experience within Retail applications
• Solid understanding of retail processes inc. stock, planning, fulfilment & PoS
• Experience designing large-scale, multi-system retail architectures
• Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman or equivalent frameworks
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and client-facing skills

£600-£650 per day (Inside IR35). 6 months rolling. Reading & remote
