Job Description

Role Overview
Join a leading energy transmission operator in Europe to help shape the future of data management and architecture. As a key member of the Data Platform team, you will bridge business needs and technology by designing enterprise data architecture blueprints and supporting data product teams. Your work will enable data-driven decision-making, innovation, and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align business strategy with data platform architecture to meet organizational goals

  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of Enterprise Data Architecture blueprints

  • Collaborate closely with Data Product Teams to scope information domains and define data products

  • Advocate adoption of data platform principles and solutions throughout the enterprise

  • Support the development and evolution of Transversal and Canonical Data Models to structure business data conceptually

  • Drive Proof of Concepts to validate architectural choices and solutions

  • Facilitate feedback integration from data teams to ensure platform usability and value

  • Guide data advisors and engineers in designing scalable, compliant data solutions

  • Work closely with product owners to maximize the value delivered by data products

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years as Enterprise, Data, or Solution Architect with cross-domain experience

  • Expertise in designing data integrations bridging cloud and on-premises systems

  • Hands-on experience with SAP, S/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere technologies

  • Strong knowledge of Domain Driven Design and data modelling principles

  • Experience with messaging/event-driven architectures and data-intensive APIs

  • Proven ability to establish architectural best practices, governance, and methodologies

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields

  • Fluent English and at least one additional language: Dutch, French, or German

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing data-focused products and working with Data Mesh architectures

  • Knowledge of Master Data Management, Big Data, and Data Lake implementations

  • Familiarity with metadata management, data catalogs, and harvesting tools
