Provide visible and effective leadership, creating a culture of excellence through continuous improvement and learning from experience.

Carry out analysis at a strategic level and develop business proposals to exploit technology in line with the organisation's mission, objectives and strategy.

Identify and address highly complex architectural risks across the organisation or wider government.

Engage with a range of high-level strategic stakeholders (technical and others), providing, receiving and analysing highly complex, sensitive and often contentious technical, administrative, financial and specialist information.

Present highly complex technical data regarding systems, governance and risks effectively to stakeholders, including at Board level, to facilitate decision-making.

Implement appropriate checks and controls to protect all assets held and managed by the organisation, including lifecycle management.
