Liffey Partnership is seeking to appoint to our team a person with a passion for and expertise in Self-Employment and Social Entrepreneurship. The role of the Enterprise and Social Enterprise Officer, as part of the wider LP team, is to deliver on Company plans through identification, development, promotion and in particular the implementation of individual supports to facilitate sustainable self-employment. The successful candidate will also promote the establishment, development and sustainability of existing and emerging Social Enterprises within the LP catchment.

The successful candidate will be passionate about working with individuals and businesses to facilitate them to achieve their fullest potential. They will have a third level qualification in business, enterprise/entrepreneurship, adult guidance or a related field along with strong commercial knowledge and experience of business development, entrepreneurship and sustainability. This person will be a self-starter with a strong ability to work on their own initiative and to develop an effective enterprise strategy and vision for the Liffey Partnership but equally able to work as part of a team and to incorporate feedback and consultation in their everyday work. They will be highly professional with excellent interpersonal skills and will be engaged in constructively developing relationships with a wide cohort of stakeholders.

They will be aware of the social environments of D10 area of Dublin as well as be conscious of the additional requirements associated with working with statutory agencies and the protection of public funds. They will be required to understand, accept and promote the values the Company as well as its remit to deliver the highest possible standard of service to its clients and the local community.
