Aspire People is searching for a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in South West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to help students develop strong communication skills and a lifelong appreciation for literature and language across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Guide students through a range of literary texts, language topics, and exam preparation.
- Monitor student progress and provide insightful feedback.
- Take part in school-wide literacy initiatives and extracurricular activities such as book clubs or creative writing workshops.
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.
- Experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
