MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Teaches English to students of the IB section
• Shares in the overall responsibility for the academic progress, personal development,
• health and safety, and well-being of students
• Creates a quality teaching environment conducive to learning, implementing the principles of positive discipline
• Acts as a coach by setting learning objectives that are challenging, inspiring and motivating, within the Collège philosophy
• Adapts teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, with high expectations for all
• learners
• Communicates effectively and regularly with parents about their children's learning and achievements
• Plans for, assesses, and reports student learning and progress

PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES

• Master's degree in English
• Qualified Teacher status
• Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years' experience, ideally in an international school environment
• English mother tongue and fluency in French a plus
• Clean criminal records
• Swiss / EU citizenship / valid Swiss work permit
