English Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting a flexible English Teacher to work as a Supply Teacher on either a long term or day to day basis across well regarded Secondary Schools in Redditch and surrounding areas, including Studley, Alcester, Bromsgrove, Astwood Bank, and Feckenham.

This role gives you the freedom to choose when and where you work, offering complete control over your diary while teaching in OFSTED rated GOOD schools. Whether you're seeking full time, part time, or ad hoc days, we work around you to ensure a great work life balance.

Job Role

• Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Follow the National Curriculum and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management
• Assess and track pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback
• Build positive relationships with staff and pupils within the Secondary School
• Work confidently as a Supply Teacher across a range of classes

Required Skills and Experience

• English Teacher, English ECT, Secondary English Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Supply Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Excellent subject knowledge and strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Confident delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passion for delivering high quality lessons that inspire pupil progress

• £150 to £240 day rate, equating to £29,250 to £46,800 per annum based on a full 5 day school week

Location

This English Teacher position is based in Redditch, easily commutable from Studley, Alcester, Bromsgrove, Astwood Bank, Feckenham, and surrounding areas. Schools are well connected by public transport and have excellent road links across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
