A well-regarded secondary school in Rickmansworth is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to help the department for a short period of time in January.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, delivering high-quality English lessons to motivated students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and Literature to Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular activities

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for education and helping students succeed
