A renowned educational institution in Thornton-Cleveleys, is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Contributing to the development of the english curriculum and departmental initiatives.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and developments in english education.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in English or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching english at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
