Aspire People are currently recruiting a bank of enthusiastic and motivated English Graduate Teaching Assistants to support schools across Manchester from September 2026.

We have long term opportunities available in:

• Primary Schools
• Secondary Schools
• SEN Schools

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and looking to develop their skills within a school setting.

The Role

As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students academically within the classroom
• Work alongside class teachers to provide classroom support
• Deliver 1:1 interventions and small group sessions
• Support students with literacy and reading development
• Assist students with SEN, including Dyslexia
• Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment

These roles are also ideal for English graduates with tutoring experience who are looking to expand their classroom based skills and experience.

Requirements

• A UK Bachelor's degree in English or a related subject
• A passion for supporting young people in education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain a new DBS
• References covering the last 2 years
