English Academic Coach

Work with the English department to provide targeted support for pupils across KS3 and KS4. You will deliver 1:1 and small group intervention, reinforce lesson content, support revision, and help students build confidence in reading, writing, analysis, and exam preparation.
CandidateYou are articulate, organised, and able to explain ideas clearly in a way pupils understand. You want practical secondary school experience, enjoy helping students improve in English, and are keen to develop the classroom skills needed for a future in teaching.
Requirements- Degree - A 2:2 or above in English, English Literature, Creative Writing, or a related subject.
- Communication - Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS - Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Desire to work in education/with children - Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Career goals - A desire to train as a teacher and build a long term career in education.
