About Our Client
Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in the Fire Safety industry? We're looking for a dynamic Field Service Manager to join our team in Whyteleafe, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of six.
Job Description
- Plan and schedule work with a minimum of 3 months in advance, based on efficient and productive working to meet Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for customers in the regional area.
- Respond to emergency call outs and unscheduled work as they arise, allocating work in the most efficient and cost-effective way while meeting customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Plan and schedule the out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure SLAs are met for all customers.
- Organise return calls, quotes, resources, parts, and logistics to ensure remedial work is completed within SLA timescales specific to each customer.
- Ensure each work order is closed and available for invoicing.
- Create new service plans on Logtek, once instructed by the sales team, and inform the Field Service team.
- Foster a positive team spirit, motivate team members to deliver high standards of work, and celebrate successes.
- Analyze productivity, scheduling, and financial reports through Logtek and Navision, with support from the Branch Manager, to develop action plans that drive high service standards.
- Review team performance against Key Performance Indicators and objectives.
- Identify training and development needs of the team and ensure the required training is planned and reviewed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Engineering Project Manager should have:
- Previous experience in fire safety or related fields such as security or fire doors.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A results-driven approach with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience working on the tools is an advantage.
