Engineering Manager - £500/day - GMP Manufacturing
Location: South Wales
Contract: Day Rate - £450 £500/day
Duration: 6 Months

We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering and maintenance operations at a high-performing GMP manufacturing site, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.

You'll be the driving force behind regulatory excellence, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement, supporting manufacturing plans and ensuring uninterrupted supply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimise engineering/maintenance activities for maximum efficiency and cGMP compliance.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of facilities, plant, and critical systems.
• Maintain high service levels with clear KPIs and robust quality controls.
• Drive continuous improvement culture and provide training to develop team capability.
• Collaborate with QA and Production to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Keep the team aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

About You:

• Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering/maintenance discipline.
• Extensive experience in GMP or a regulated production environment (aerospace, automotive, food, Pharma ).
• Proven project management and leadership skills.
• Strong communicator with strategic thinking abilities.
• Able to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and inspire a team.
