Engineering Manager

Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group, is recruiting for Engineering Managers to lead engineering teams within our Delivery team.
The engineering teams deliver innovative solutions for projects across the UK. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering solutions to meet scope, cost, and schedule requirements. The ability to travel to various offices and project sites is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure health and safety are prioritized in design development.
- Plan, monitor, and control engineering output regarding scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, and stakeholder management.
- Manage change control and detailed design schedules.
- Balance multiple project needs effectively.
- Lead project engineers and oversee the technical coordination of multidisciplinary outputs within a digital environment.
- Coordinate with internal and external project team members, including procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Participate in or lead client meetings.
- Ensure the engineering team adheres to quality systems, design standards, codes, and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
- Assist with business development or pursuit activities as needed.
- Oversee performance management, mentoring, recognition, learning, and development, including corrective actions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Several years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with NEC3/4 PSC project management or contract administration.
- Proven leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and driving positive change.
- Motivated to deliver solutions for water, wastewater, and sludge treatment projects.
- Previous experience in a technical engineering leadership role.
- Ability to complete pre-employment checks, including background, drug, and motor vehicle records, as required by law.
- Experience working in a Design & Build environment with contractors.
- Good understanding of digital engineering and its application in project delivery.
