The OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to launch their engineering career in a dynamic, fast paced environment. As a permanent member of our engineering team, you'll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our production equipment and systems, gaining valuable hands on experience while contributing to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities- Assist engineers with routine maintenance and repair of machinery
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Participate in fault diagnosis and resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
- Develop technical skills in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Gain exposure to food production processes and compliance standards
- Learn about site service utilities (steam, water, electricity) and their role in manufacturing
- Understand the impact of engineering on operational efficiency
- Build teamwork and communication skills through collaboration with cross functional teams
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline-such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering-with a minimum classification of 2:2 (or equivalent)
- Strong interest in industrial engineering and food production
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Effective communicator and team player
