Engineering Coordinator

Overview

Engineering Coordinator role based near Nottingham (Beeston, Hucknall region). Focus on validation, machinery compliance, and technical documentation with full training provided. The role supports a broad range of engineering documentation and validation activities across a growing, highly regulated manufacturing environment (medical, pharma, aerospace, automotive, and related industries).

Responsibilities

• Support validation processes and documentation across the business, ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory expectations.
• Coordinate mechanical precision components into medical and pharma manufacturing (with experience in aerospace, semiconductor, or other highly regulated sectors beneficial).
• Contribute to factory acceptance tests (FAT) and related engineering documentation as part of full training provided.
• Collaborate across teams in a mid-size environment ( 150-200 headcount) with an SME mindset and a hands-on approach.
• Maintain attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and development; no engineering degree required - focus is on process validation and documentation across the business.

Essential Experience

• Full training provided.
• Some experience with documentation in an engineering or manufacturing setting (quality systems, compliance, SOPs, FAT validation, etc.).
• You do not need to be an engineer; attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration are key.
• Willingness to learn and participate in a structured, professional environment created to develop individuals.
• Exposure to highly regulated sectors (aerospace, oil and gas, nuclear, medical, pharmaceutical, automotive) is beneficial.
• SME mentality - a "doer" who works across the business on validation for new products.

Location & Schedule

Based near Nottingham - Beeston, Hucknall region. Typical schedule features flexible timing with Friday finish at 12:00 (e.g., Monday-Thursday 7:00-15:30; Friday 12:00 finish).
