Engineering Administrator Ballygawley

Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit an Engineering Administrator to join their team in Ballygawley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to join a busy engineering environment, providing administrative support across engineering, maintenance and production activities.

The Role

As Engineering Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the engineering function, helping to ensure information, documentation and processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Maintaining accurate engineering records, documentation and databases.
  • Updating systems with work orders, maintenance information and engineering data.
  • Assisting with the creation and processing of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Coordinating documentation relating to engineering projects and maintenance activities.
  • Liaising with internal departments, suppliers and contractors as required.
  • Supporting engineers and management with reports, spreadsheets and general administration.
  • Ensuring engineering documentation is maintained in line with company procedures.
  • Assisting with general office and administrative duties within the engineering function.
What you will need
  • Previous experience in an administration role, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Previous experience working with engineering or maintenance systems would be advantageous.
